Steps to Apply for Admission
Step 1: Complete the Application
- Begin by obtaining an admission package from our Office of the Registrar or complete the process online.
- Fill out all required forms thoroughly, as incomplete applications will not be processed.
- Include the $80.00 application fee, which covers both the application and ID fee. Payment can be made via check, money order, or credit card for mailed applications, or directly online for electronic submissions.
Step 2: Meet Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must:
- Submit a completed official application along with the non-refundable $80.00 fee.
- Have earned, or be within 6 semester hours of earning, a Master’s Degree or equivalent.
- Provide official transcripts and documents showing completion of a Master’s degree.
- Submit a letter of intent explaining how you plan to finance your education.
- Provide two letters of recommendation: one professional and one academic.

- Provide a clear headshot for your student ID.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English through your letter of intent and an interview.
Step 3: Evaluation Process
Once your complete application, including all required documents and fees, is received, our Admissions Committee will evaluate your eligibility. The committee considers several factors, including:
- Work experience and professional references.
- Academic performance (minimum GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate or 3.0 for graduate applicants).
- Financial ability to pay for your education.
- Performance in prerequisite courses for the master’s program.
If your GPA is below the required threshold but you have five or more years of professional experience, the committee will assess your work history's quality and diversity to determine eligibility.
Step 4: Interview/Orientation
If your application is accepted, you will be invited to an interview/orientation, which serves as the final step in the admission process. This meeting helps us ensure that CUF is the right fit for you and allows us to finalize your enrollment.
Step 5: Payment and Financial Agreement
Accepted applicants are required to make a full payment for the year or program. If full payment is not possible, a payment plan can be established with an initial down payment equivalent to the tuition for three courses. Together, we will discuss and establish the best financial plan for you.
